Entrance Music: "Re-Education (Through Labor)" by Rise Against
Entrance: The lights dim, and the sound of a heartbeat fills the silence, growing a little louder and faster before being replaced with a driving rock beat. "Re-Education (Through Labor)" by Rise Against kicks into gear over the arena sound system, getting an ear-splittingly huge pop from the female fans in attendance.
To the sound of a heartbeat pounding away
To the rhythm of the awful rusted machines
We toss and turn but don't sleep
Each breath we take makes us thieves
Like causes without rebels
Just talk but promise nothing else
Lex appears through the curtain as orange and red spotlights fade up slowly, like the sun rising to reveal a fire in the sky. He stands with his head bowed and pauses before raising his arms, thrusting them directly into the path of the spotlights as the crowd erupts into cheers yet again. Hesitating for a moment, he adjusts his fight gloves and the tape on his forearms before unzipping his Brutal Apparel hoodie.
He makes his way down to the ring, slapping hands with as many fans as he can. Midway down, he stops and shrugs out of the hoodie, whipping it into the crowd. He pauses for a few selfies with fans before hopping up on the apron. Grinning at the crowd, he presses his right fist over his heart to a huge pop before turning and springing over the rope.

Character Biography: Lex has worked for many years both as a bare-knuckle boxer and professional wrestler. He began his training in Chicago back in 2003, honing his skills under the tutelage of Ace Steel. His style is a hybrid of high impact and technical moves, peppered with some MMA-style submissions he added to his repertoire in 2010. Having worked for several notable companies over the last few years (including FTW, PCW, iiW, Phoenix Wrestling and most recently, SCW and Olympus), Collins is no stranger to the business or the spotlight that goes with it.
Lex Collins earned every ass in the seats that cheers for him the hard way, through blood, sweat and tears. They were there when he finally cracked into the Main Event scene in mid-2013 while still employed with FTW. They were there when he fought back against injustice and insanity. They were there when he competed in a fan-chosen Turkish Death Match against Aornis Black and pounded the Devil’s Daughter into hamburger. They were there when he turned his back on the corrupt company that had made him a household name, choosing the regional Louisville-based PCW where he finally captured his first World Championship. They were 100% behind him when PCW folded and he moved on to iiW, yet again defeating some of the biggest names in wrestling to capture their biggest prize. Most recently, he held the coveted SCW Vegas Championship uncontested for more than six months before parting ways with the company. From there he moved on to New York-based Olympus, pulling off a stunning 11-1 record before claiming their Zeus Championship. Unfortunately (or fortunately for Lex), the company closed its doors, leaving Collins unemployed in October of 2016. Since then he's been taking an extended vacation, recovering from the physical (and emotional) wear and tear of the last hectic year of wrestling.
He is a champion for the people (even without any gold around his waist), a blue-collar hero they never realized they needed until he was there, connecting emotionally every night. Despite his almost awkward people skills, Lex has a way with words and his fan base seems to have grown exponentially because of this. Most recently, he's been spotted back working a few appearances with Great Lakes Pro Wrestling company Lion's Road.

We crawl on our knees for you
Under a sky no longer blue
We sweat all day long for you
But we sow seeds to see us through
'Cause sometimes dreams just don't come true
We wait to reap what we are due
