BIOGRAPHY
Lex Collins earned every ass in the seats that cheers for him the hard way, through blood, sweat and tears. They were there when he finally cracked into the Main Event scene in mid-2013 while still employed with FTW. They were there when he fought back against injustice and insanity. They were there when he competed in a fan-chosen Turkish Death Match against Aornis Black and pounded the Devil’s Daughter into hamburger. They were there when he turned his back on the corrupt company that had made him a household name, choosing the regional Louisville-based PCW where he finally captured his first World Championship. They were 100% behind him when PCW folded and he moved on to iiW, yet again defeating some of the biggest names in wrestling to capture their biggest prize. He held the coveted SCW Vegas Championship uncontested for more than six months before parting ways with the company. From there he moved on to New York-based Olympus, pulling off a stunning 11-1 record before claiming their Zeus Championship. Unfortunately (or fortunately for Lex), the company closed its doors, leaving Collins unemployed in October of 2016.
Until May of 2017, Lex took time off to recover from his injuries, looking to focus on his mental and physical well-being. Most recently, he worked briefly for Lion’s Road, F’n Awesome Wrestling (Vengeance Pro) and the Norfolk, Virginia based Shoot Society before finding his way to the World Wrestling Headquarters, a place he believed would be his permanent home. He enjoyed a meteoric rise that saw him remain largely undefeated until defeating Alex Jones for the World Heavyweight Championship. He went on to defend a few times before losing to the returning Finn Whelan, the only man in the company Lex had been unable to defeat prior to claiming the championship. The two had a bitter rivalry and Lex refused to back down despite seeing the machinations behind the curtain and he demanded a rematch against Whelan, only to come up short again. Exactly one year to the date of his return from hiatus, Collins parted ways with the company and returned to Las Vegas.
