If you were to drive by the Wild Ones Wrestling Academy in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona, you'd notice many things. One would be the school itself, housing some fine talents in the wrestling business who honed their craft at the gym. You'd notice the rather clean parking lot surrounding the building as the grounds were fairly well kept, not that it was hard in the middle of the desert. And today, you'd notice that the parking lot was pretty much devoid of cars, save two. That's because at a quarter to midnight, there's not a lot of training going on. The place seemed mostly empty as a result.
A third car began to pull into the parking lot, not that anyone would notice. Because upstairs on the uppermost floor of the academy was a loft, perfect size for one person to crash if they needed. It was normally reserved for visiting talent for various seminars. And that's where we find none other than Kasey Summers. What is she doing at a quarter til midnight up there? Training? No. Watching wrestling tapes? Ha! Sound asleep? Not even close. No, Kasey was doing none of those things.
She was making out.
There in the darkened loft, one could easily hear slight clothes ruffling. And the unmistakable sound of kissing. Who was she currently locked in a tongue twister with? Well duh, Jason. The older brother of Tori, who Kasey had met not too long ago and shared an inside joke and suddenly had begun to share a lot more in recent weeks since. Like now, she was sharing her tongue with Tori's brother in her loft above the wrestling academy. Neither one could tell you how long it had been going on, probably because they didn't care. But when the entrance to the loft opened and a light switch flicked on, Kasey's agent, Carson Black, stopped in his tracks as he stood in the door frame watching the couple sucking face on the sofa. He cleared his throat, not getting much of a response before he cleared it much more noticeably.
"Ahem!" He said as though he had done it through a megaphone.
Kasey almost jumped out of her skin at the sound, pulling back from Jason with a look of abject terror on her face. Turning, she spotted her agent in the doorway and immediately flushed a deep red. "M-Mr…Black!" She squeaked out his name, looking mortified.
"Very interesting curriculum they have here." Carson added as he stepped through into the loft, a folder in his hand. He glanced over to Jason, who waved back to him with a bit of lipstick on his lips.
"Hello, Mr. Black!" Jason said with a smile.
"Jason…" The agent continued on in, noting the lipstick as he took a seat on an ottoman which had no actual recliner near it. "I didn't mean to interrupt your…..training here, but I thought I would let you know that these are the papers for your new apartment in New York that you wanted. With the help of Mr. Kincaid, you now have a rent controlled studio for less than a thousand dollars a month. You just have to sign them and bring them with you when you are ready to move."
Jason still had a very contented smile on his face. "New York City is pretty cool. I was an autograph signing at a comics shop there for Kasey a few months back. Well….Tori as Kasey. One of them had a t-shirt he'd made of Kasey dressed up like Darth Vader on the front."
"Darth Vader?" Kasey's eyes were wide as she grinned, looking over at Jason, "that's really, really cool! I mean, I'd totally wear that. Way cooler than me in some Princess Leia gold bikini get-up." Her eyes went back to Carson's as she nodded, "you have no idea how excited I am about having a legitimate home. I mean… this place is nice but there's NO privacy at all. Cody's the best… I don't even want to guess how he managed to get me a place that size in New York City for such a low price."
"Yes, he is quite remarkable. I suppose it's helpful knowing as many business contacts as he does." Carson told her as he placed the folder on a side table next to the sofa the two had been using.
"Where's Tori? Didn't she come with you?" Jason asked, noticing his shirt was pulled up a bit and tugging it back down.
"She's in the car. I gave her a couple dollars for the vending machine, so it'd give her mouth something to do besides talk to me the whole time…...point A to point B." Carson said with some exasperation. "I just wanted to drop that off for you, and I'll be on my way. And you can…" He twirled his hand around like it was in a mixing bowl. "Resume what you were doing." He pushed back up to his feet. "I was going to ask if you needed a ride back, Jason, but….that seems to be a moot point now, doesn't it?"
"He… uhm," Kasey looked embarrassed, "can totally sleep on the couch. We were going to watch some tapes of Maddie in a little while. It's just… you know… they're not all that interesting and…" the more words came out, the deeper she was digging the hole.
"Well you certainly had the right ambiance for watching tapes...the lights out and the television off. Some excellent training indeed. Either way, I hope you enjoy the rest of your evening, though I am sure you will." Carson told them as he headed for the door. He reached for the light switch, glancing back as if to ask if they wanted it back off. Instead he just shook his head and left it on, closing the door behind him.
Jason now turned a bit red as he glanced over to Kasey, reaching both arms around her and giving her a hug. "Sorry about that. I hope you aren't mad or anything. I wasn't trying to get you into trouble." He told her, looking down as though he were expecting a tongue lashing. Just not the kind he had been receiving a little earlier.
"Oh no," she replied, "it's okay. I think maybe it was a good thing we weren't halfway naked or anything like that… and it's not like he's a prude or anything. He's married so…" she trailed off, realizing that she'd just talked about them being half-naked and now she couldn't get that image of him in nothing more than a towel out of her head. "Besides," she said softly, blushing furiously, "I'd gladly take the heat for that. I mean… you… uhm… that was pretty awesome."
Jason rubbed his hands over his face for a second before a smile formed on his lips. "It really was. Look, I know we kinda did it backwards a bit. Because I haven't really asked you out on a date or anything yet, but...I'd like to take you out on one. I really like you, and have fun spending time with you. Even without all the…" He waved his hands around for a moment and embraced her again, hugging her against him on his lap. "I don't really know where much of anything is here, but I'd still like to go on a date with you, if you want." He seemed a bit sheepish as he said it, almost as though he were anticipating rejection.
Her eyes lit up as a little giggle escaped her lips, "seriously? I'd love that more than anything! I thought you'd never ask… really… I kinda thought maybe you just weren't into me and then you know, when we met I was with Richard and it was all weird because I was thinking about you like almost all the time and..." she trailed off, realizing that she was putting both feet into her mouth now.
"It's cool, I know how you feel. I was doing the same thing." He said with a small smile til his head cocked up and he began to shake it. "But I didn't mean about Richard." He trailed off, and felt the need to add to that again. "But I'm sure he was nice and all. Not trying to insult him or anything." He finally managed to cut off the faucet of babble pouring out his mouth by pressing another kiss to her lips, nibbling on her bottom lip as he did so.
Kasey sighed, her hand slipping under his shirt again, pushing it up slightly so she could feel those washboard abs of his as she kissed him back. When she pulled back, she had a sad smile on her lips, "let's agree to never talk about Richard again, okay? He's got nothing on you, Jase… honest."
That brought a smile to his face as the pair engaged in another kiss before the loft entrance opened again.
"OH MY GOD, YOU'RE SUCH A SKANK!" If you had to guess, that would be Tori. Dressed like Nessa Wall's doppelganger, she walked into the loft and surveyed the situation of Kasey sitting on her brother's lap. "Is this what you two have been doing the whole time?! How do you train?! And when the hell did this all start?"
"I trained earlier today," Kasey said defensively, still beet red as she stared at Tori, "I was actually learning a few new take-downs from a guy who trains Muay Thai and BJJ… so…"
"If I'd have come in two minutes later, I'd have seen a BJ…" Tori exclaimed as Jason looked up to his sister.
"Don't worry about it, Tor. Listen, we've been talking about it. And we just decided to start dating." He said proudly, as if he had shut her down entirely.
"So she was just giving you some free samples?! Have you always felt like this about her?! HOLY FUCK, YOU WEREN'T THINKING ABOUT THIS WHEN I WAS PRETENDING TO BE HER, WERE YOU?!" Tori threw her arms up in the air. "WE'RE NOT FROM ALABAMA!"
"That's disgusting!" Jason told her, shaking his head. "So we're dating, get over it!
"When did it start?" She asked.
"Uh...tomorrow." He replied.
"A few hours ago," Kasey said at the same time, her eyes moving from Tori's angry face to Jason's flustered one. "I didn't mean to cause any trouble… I just… Tori, he's really, really nice and he's—"
"I DON'T CARE! I'm his sister, I don't give a fuck what girls think of him." Tori added. "So when is this date?"
Jason answered. "Tomorrow night."
"Fine. I'll go with you." She told him.
"I don't need a chaperone, least of all you." Jason told her.
"No one asked you! I have to go to make sure Jenna Jameson over here keeps her panties on. This is supposed to be a date, not a tryout for Redheads Who Hump, Volume 12!"
Kasey was hoping that the couch would swallow her up. When that didn't happen, she actually looked up at Tori, more embarrassed than she had been when Carson walked in on them. "I always wear panties." She said with a straight face, "and the only time I take them off is to shower— not that I plan to take a shower with Jase or anything. I was just…" she rushed to do damage control before Tori said something even worse, "there's an Olive Garden one street over and they have this cool special right now where you get dessert and an extra entree so we could totally go there."
"Yeah, you better not take a shower with him. He'll see what a fake you got going on." Tori told her. Jason looked at Kasey's chest for a moment before his sister slapped him in the back of the head. "Not there, moron! Her hair! You think she could afford boobs?!"
"You can leave anytime now, unless you want Mr. Black to leave you here." Part of him hoped against hope that she didn't want to stay. Luckily Tori nodded her head with a sigh.
"God, I don't want to be here with you and Thumper. But I'll be back tomorrow, 8pm and we'll go to the Olive Garden with the rest of the geriatrics." Tori said as she spun on her sneaker-clad heel and slammed the door shut behind her when she left.
Jason looked back to Kasey with a smile. "I'm sorry about that…."
"My flight leaves at 10," she said with a grin, "so I think maybe we should go eat at 6 instead." With that out of the way, she wrapped her arms around him again, already forgetting everything Tori had said as her lips found his again.
They say that nothing worth having comes without some kind of fight— Tori was living proof of that.
